To change the gravity, you must have control of a server. Either through actually running your own, or using rcon (remote controller). If you just want to change the gravity on a lan server you are running that's quite simple. The command is: sv_gravity value where 'value' is a number, this defaults to 800. sv_gravity 0 would cause everyone to float to the ceiling as soon as they jumped, while sv_gravity 20000 would bring everyone crashing down. setting this to 750 is just enough "umph" for me to jump on top of most boxes. rcon a server: rcon_password serverpassword rcon sv_gravity value rcon a server on a port other than 27015: rcon_password serverpassword rcon_port portnumber rcon sv_gravity value rcon a server from your console without being connected to any server: rcon_address ipnumberofserver rcon_password serverpassword rcon_port portnumber rcon sv_gravity value ----- I don't see how it could have taken any length of time, jacozekk, it looks you just copied and pasted the bottom of: http://www.counter-strike.net/manual.htm ----- If you are interested in all the console commands and cvars available to HL, check out: Command Center - One-stop shop for Half-Life server admins... |
