problem with a program!!

guys i install a program on my pc called gomez peer...it is on my system tray and when i double click on it it tells me ''failed to contact gomez peer''...what can i do to open the program???

hmm, mostlikely is a proxy/firewall
in your other post u said u didn't used one, i think u need to recheck it, it could be windows firewall, any antivirus installed, or an integrated firewall in your modem

u can disable the windows firewall in control panel-->wndows firewall

there isn't windows firewall in my control panel...

hmm, then u probably don't have SP2 installed...
or u have not the classic mode and then u have to click on Security Center
and then Windows Firewall

i have sp1 installed on my pc...

so u don't have any windows firewall, it's introduced with SP2

i found some info on the net which tells me u have to install the International version of Gomez Peer

if that doesn't work too, just contact Gomez Peer support, they know what their errors mean...

i contact them and i tell them the problem but they haven't answer me yet...
