PS3 sales solid, behind Wii in Japan
The PS3 has sold more than 200,000 units in Japan since its debut on Nov. 17. Several game titles remain in the top 50 sales rankings for the week, including Ridge Racer 7, Mobile Suit Gundam: Target, and Resistance: Fall of Man. Sony this week said that it will maintain its PS3 sales forecast of 2 million units shipped this calendar year despite launch problems that limited initial allocation in the U.S. and Japan. |
