News from Sony, via their PS3 blog Three Speech, is that SingStar on the PS3 has been delayed yet again, this time due to arrive sometime in October. A post at Three Speech stated that, “SingStar for the PS3 is on its way. As soon as its release date is confirmed, you’ll read it here first.” Why another delay to what was first envisioned to be a PS3 launch title? There’s no official word. It could indeed be a number of problems that Sony are having developing such a title.
Could it be trouble making all those songs available via the PSN? Maybe there are a few problems with the wireless mics synching up with the PS3. Or could it just be a simple artificial delay to make sure that SingStar is released just in time for the Christmas rush? My moneys on the latter, especially with US release date confirmed for the 15th November.
