Dear Santa, I would like to assure you that my colleagues and myself have all been reasonably good this year. I would like to thank you in advance and on behalf of my colleagues for all the candies and toys I know will be found in our respective homes this year. To tell the truth Santa, we are all adults here but you can keep on bringing toys and candies as long as you see fit. (At our ages, we're not complaining).
Hey Santa, could you do us a favour this year?
On Christmas Eve, while traveling over California, could you please have a couple elves make a stealth visit to the Googleplex in Mountain View? There's a few things we'd like them to look at and if possible, modify.
First of all, could your elves please leave a note on Larry or Sergey's desktop, asking if Google's search engine results pages could start to make sense again? The results have been faltering lately and we are very concerned about poor Larry and Sergey if their toys don't work properly anymore. (see Santa, we're being nice.)
Next, could you please deliver the following toys to either Larry or Sergey?

1. A full- scale backlink update along with a corresponding PR update. I think their current PR toy is broken. No new billionaire should have a broken PR toy.
2. The ability to search within search results. I think I saw Larry or Sergey playing with someone else's toys a few months ago and these guys deserve their own version.
3. Relevant SERPs. If you can deliver relevancy to their view of their listings, perhaps they will in turn deliver relevant SERPs to the rest of us again.
4. An organic search keyword suggestion tool.
5. A proprietary operating system based on open-source code. This toy would be the ultimate Lego set for geeks.

Santa, none of these gifts are for me, my publishers or my colleagues. We're not greedy. Now I know we only talk around Christmas but I also know that if Larry and Sergey
