By Liquid Metal/Br0ck13 First we must STOP any current infection that is running, so fire up TaskManager: (Below is a Third Party Task Manager)  Disconnect from the internet to avoid any infections transmitting data back to their log database. Terminate any "dodgy looking process, eg: 022021045.exe, savewhenU.exe Now we must remove any or ALL traces of infections. I am going to use Webroot because they have advanced threat research systems.  Scanning...  Real Time Protection: I am now starting the shields to prevent infections from ever happening.  Now i have cleaned my system, but i can never be to sure, so i recommend running another program called Spyware Doctor, this offers advanced details on infections.  |
