Default MIS CDS acquires i-Sentral in cash buyout

MIS Corporate Defence Solutions Limited (MIS CDS), one of the UK’s largest IT security providers has acquired i-Sentral Security Ltd (i-Sentral) in a cash buyout. The acquisition includes the transfer of i-Sentral employees and assets.
MIS CDS, now in its 15th year, is the longest standing IT security provider in the UK and already has a diverse portfolio of IT Security Solutions delivering high quality services to 1000 plus clients. With this acquisition, MIS CDS has expanded its customer portfolio and strengthened its managed service offering. MIS CDS is now one of the largest IT security management companies in the UK.
MIS CDS already has a wide ranging product portfolio and supporting delivery services that have been enhanced by experience through close partnership with its customers to ensure their network and business needs are met. i-Sentral, with over 10 years in the business, an established UK player and over the past 4 years has focused on the delivery of security solutions to the enterprise market . This has led to the establishment of sophisticated and flexible responsiveness leading to substantial solutions growth. Enhancing MIS CDS’ product and services opens up many areas especially managed services, web security and the provision of specialist security skills to end users, Telco’s, ISP’s and IT organisations.
“I am pleased to announce the acquisition of i-Sentral. Together with the recent purchase of Nexus Security Ltd, MIS CDS is now one of the leading IT Security companies with a major managed service capability in the UK” commented Sas du Toit, Managing Director for MIS CDS. “To continue in this industry you need to keep moving forward, and MIS CDS is doing just that. This acquisition enhances our position as a supplier of security specific products and services to third parties like Telco's and ISPs.”
"This is a fantastic deal for all concerned. Our customer’s will receive better service through the deeper resources, our partners will gain wider access to a larger portfolio of products and services and our employees will benefit from more defined career paths and increased support." said Ben Allan, Managing Director, i-Sentral.
This acquisition will help strengthen MIS CDS’ position in the IT security sector - together the two companies deliver increased size, scale and geographic reach.
