Taking GameCube console Online

Question: I want to play a couple of GameCube games online through my PC. How dow I configure the 2nd NIC card to talk to my console? Do I have to force a specific IP address for that card? The game in question is Phantasy Star Online, Ep. I & II (original), and I intend to play it on one of the free servers out there.

There is also a possibility to play some LAN-enabled games online using tunelling software, so this would be a bonus
