Nintendo faces a Wii lawsuit
The nation-wide case action lawsuit has been brought against the company by the law firm Green Welling LLP on the grounds that "Nintendo's failure to include a remote that is free from defects is in breach of Nintendo's own product warranty'. According to CNet News.com, the lawsuit seeks to ensure that Nintendo corrects the deficit and refund or replace any dysfunctional Wii remotes. The Wii games console, which was released on 17 November amid much hype, is special because of its "Wiimote" which allows the player to physically interact with the game by swinging the remote as a bat, or a sword, or firing it as a gun. |
