Halo 2 Cleans Up at G-Phoria Awards
Halo® 2, the most popular game in history for Xbox®, took home several handfuls of hardware at the 2005 G-Phoria video game awards. The best-selling first-person shooter (FPS) from Bungie Studios and Microsoft Games Studios not only won the Game of the Year award, but several other high-profile awards as well. The show, hosted by Wilmer Valderrama (Fez from That 70s Show) will be broadcast on G4 TV on August 9, 2005. Award winners were determined by fan voting, as more than a million gamers cast ballots online and through text messages. In addition to Game of the Year, Halo 2 also received the following awards:
