The Xbox 360 Elite is set to be released in the UK on the 24th of August 2007, according to the popular online DVD and games store Play.com. The shopping site has also announced the price will be £329.99, equivalent to $671 and 81,921 Japanese Yen at current exchange rates. The news comes just 6 days after the console's release date was announced in Japan as the
11th of October priced at just 47,800 Yen. This equates to a whopping 31,121 Yen price difference between the UK and Japanese versions of the console. I wonder when Britons will stand up to this kind of blatant price rip-off and refuse to buy such over-priced items.
